Enhancing security and compliance with tell.money

As part of our mission to improve financial inclusivity and efficiency, we’ve partnered with tell.money.

tell.money is a market-leading open ecosystem platform offering a suite of services including Dedicated Interface APIs, Confirmation of Payee, and advanced Testing & Monitoring tools.

This partnership reinforces our commitment to helping businesses and freelancers to send, spend and accept money globally with better security and ease.

Compliance is key to your Altery experience, as it ensures your money and details are kept safe with us. As regulations evolve and oversight increases, we’ve integrated tell.money’s solution to stay compliant without disrupting global payments.

By implementing PSD2, we saw an opportunity to improve security and reduce fraud through Confirmation of Payee (CoP).

This means that when you send a payment within the UK, we automatically check that the account name matches the details a customer has entered. If something doesn’t match, the customer gets an instant alert to review or change it.

We know sending money can be scary but this new feature takes the fear out of it, so you can be sure your money ends up in the right place.

This collaboration means we can continue to provide an intuitive and efficient tool for global payments, making sure businesses can operate optimally while meeting the latest industry standards.
